GALESBURG, Ill. – Cornell's women's soccer team battled defending Midwest Conference regular-season champion Knox to a 0-0 draw Monday at Jorge Prats Field.
The Rams (2-10-2 overall, 1-1-1 MWC) went 90 scoreless minutes with the perennial conference contender and earned one point in the MWC standings, where they are currently sixth with five matches to go.
Freshman
Sabrina Ibanez went the distance at goalkeeper for the Rams, recording her second shutout of the fall. She finished with five saves.
The Rams outshot the Prairie Fire (1-9-2 overall, 1-2-2 MWC) by a 10-7 margin and also had seven corner-kick chances. Cornell's fifth and final shot on goal came from
Elise Hermiston in the 85th minute.

Sam O'Brien each attempted two shots to pace Cornell's attack.
