PELLA – A 27-point scoring spree in the fourth quarter carried Cornell's women's basketball team to a 77-66 nonconference victory over Central Saturday afternoon inside Kuyper Gymnasium.

Madison Wauters netted 11 of her game-high 19 points during Cornell's fourth-quarter surge. She was equally dominant on the glass, grabbing a career-best 18 rebounds, including 11 offensive. It was Wauters' second double-double in as many contests this season.
The Rams (1-1) sank 11 3-point goals and went 16-of-20 from the foul line in a game they never trailed. Cornell pressured the Dutch (1-2) into 18 turnovers that resulted in 24 points for the Rams.

Megan Gandrup had the hot shooting hand for the Rams, draining five 3-pointers and finishing with 16 points. She also collected eight rebounds.
Freshman Karli Artman gave the Rams 12 points off the bench, connecting on three 3-pointers.
Ani'ja Simmons provided eight points and eight rebounds.
Madison Osborn added eight points on perfect 8-of-8 shooting from the free throw line against her former teammates.
Kali March and Osborn each dished four assists. March came away with three of the team's 10 steals.
Cornell took a 38-24 lead into intermission and led by as many as 19 points in the third quarter. The Dutch trimmed the margin to 68-64 with less than two minutes to play. March drilled a 3-pointer on the ensuing possession that essentially put the game away.
