HILTON HEAD, Sc. - Cornell's women's tennis team brought their brooms with them today, completing a 9-0 sweep of Western New England at the Hilton Head Beach & Tennis Resort. 

The Rams (8-8) got things going quickly in doubles with the duo fo Audrey Small and Kylie Jacobson winning their third straight match together capturing an 8-2 victory at No. 2. Ashley Mink and Josalin McKeever got on the board next cruising to an 8-1 triumph at No. 3. No. 1 pair Makayla Johnson and Wies Kleingeld finished the doubles sweep closing out a tightly contested match 8-7(6). 

Johnson, Kleingeld, Jacobson and Mink all were straight set winners in singles play to complete 2-0 days. Ashley Drake at No. 5 posted a quick 6-0, 6-1 victory, and Emma Shipley rounded out the singles slate closing out her back and forth match at No. 6, 6-3, 1-6, 10-8. 

The Rams will conclude their spring break match slate Tuesday taking on Randolph College at 1pm at the Hilton Head Beach & Tennis Resort.
