MOUNT VERNON – Cornell College had six student-athletes representing men's and women's cross country/track and field recognized on the
2022-23 NCAA III Academic All-District Teams, selected by the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA).
Sophomores
Tyler Bilskie (biochemistry and molecular biology),
Caleb Schopen (kinesiology) and
Katie Lammers (history/politics), juniors
Cari Pickup (elementary education) and
Caitlyne Mar (criminal psychology in society) and senior
Annika Sutter (biochemistry and molecular biology/French) were all honored excellence in the classroom and in competition.
To be eligible for all-academic recognition, the nominee must be a starter or important reserve, have completed one full calendar year at the nominating institution, and hold a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.
Cornell's honorees advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration. The teams will be announced on June 28 for the women, June 29 for the men.
