APPLETON, Wis. – Cornell's men's soccer team stayed unbeaten in Midwest Conference play after a 1-1 draw with host Lawrence Saturday at the Banta Bowl.

Aidan Lerch gave the Rams (3-6-1 overall, 1-0-1 MWC) a 1-0 lead early in the second half. His fifth score of the season was assisted by
George Archer.
The Rams played with the lead until the 75th minute, when Lawrence (1-6-4 overall, 0-0-2) netted the equalizer. Cornell goalkeeper
Jeremy Spina recorded one of his two saves down the stretch to help the Rams salvage the tie.
Cornell extended its series unbeaten streak with Lawrence to 10 matches.
The Rams attempted six of their 10 shots in the second half, while holding the Vikings to eight total for the match.
Lerch accounted for three of Cornell's five shots on goal.
Sam Burmeister and
Justice Toledo added two shots apiece.
