LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Cornell's women saw their season end Saturday in a 7-0 soccer setback to Midwest Conference co-champion Lake Forest at Farwell Field.

Sabrina Ibanez collected nine saves in a complete-game effort, which saw the Foresters (12-2-3 overall, 7-0-1 MWC) convert three penalty kicks in the match.
Lake Forest's first PK opened the scoring at the 14-minute mark. The Foresters added their second score late in the first half and then pulled away with five goals after intermission.

Eva Plathe accounted for Cornell's three shots on goal.

The young Rams finished the campaign at 2-13-1 overall, 1-6-1 in the MWC under first-year head coach
