DUBUQUE, IA - Cornell's women's tennis team hit the road for a Thursday afternoon dual match against Loras College. After a delay due to rain, and more rain following later on, the match was shortened to clinch, and the Duhawks prevailed 5-1.
In doubles, the Rams duo of

Ashley Mink powered through for an 8-1 win at No. 2. No. 1 tandem of
Mac Graves/
Makayla Johnson dropped a close match after the rain delay, 8-7. Loras took a 2-1 advantage going into singles.
Singles play was changed to 8 game pro set for scoring, to accommodate for the drizzling weather. The Duhawks won at the No. 3-5 spots. The rest of the singles tilts were abandoned.
Coming up: The Rams play host to the University of Dubuque on Saturday morning. First serve is set for 11am at the Cornell Tennis Courts.
