MOUNT VERNON – Cornell's men's tennis team continued Midwest Conference play Saturday afternoon with a 9-0 dual loss to title contender Lake Forest at the Cornell tennis courts. The Rams honored seniors Alexander Hadler-Strumlauf and Federico Polidori in their last home matches on senior day. Cornell moves to 15-6 (2-1) on the year. 
 
Cornell freshman No. 3 player, Trent Devore hung tough with George Ciuca in a 7-6, 7-5 setback. The Foresters won the remaining singles matches in straight sets. 
 
Cornell's No. 1 doubles pair of Alexander Hadler-Strumlauf/Federico dropped only their second match to Division III opponents as a doubles pair this spring, 8-1.
 
Coming up: Cornell travels to take on Grinnell College on Sunday afternoon. First serve is set for 2pm.
