MOUNT VERNON – Cornell has placed five student-athletes on the 2025-26 NCAA Division III Academic All-District
Men's and
Women's At-Large Teams, selected by the College Sports Communicators.
Coach
Brent Hamm's men's wrestling program was represented with a pair of honorees in seniors
Jackson Brinker (environmental justice and sustainability) and
Austin Wilkins (kinesiology).
Senior midfielder
Brandon Warnke (computer science) earned the distinction for men's lacrosse.
For women's lacrosse, senior midfielder
Brynn Miroslavich (English-literature, society and politics) gained CSC honors for the third consecutive year. Sophomore
Averi Burke (exercise science) was recognized for women's wrestling.
To be eligible for all-academic recognition, the nominee must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing, hold a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50, and have competed in 90 percent of the institution's total contests or started in 66 percent of the total competitions.
Wrestlers must be in the lineup for 75 percent of team scoring events or compete at an NCAA qualifying meet.
The CSC Academic All-America Teams will be announced July 7 (women) and July 8 (men).
