PLYMOUTH, Wis. – Rams men's soccer team went on the road Saturday to take on Lakeland at Taylor Field. Cornell battled a tough Muskies team before falling, 3-0.
Cornell (0-2-1) gave up two goals in the first half, both coming from the foot of Muskies Dunia Wangu. Jordan Davis-Troller tacked on a goal in the second half for Lakeland (2-1).
The Rams were outshot by the Muskies 13-2, with seven of Lakeland shots on goal to one for Cornell.
Sophomore
Rafiel Alcaraz had a shot on goal for the Rams and
Fox Wight attempted a shot.
James Withers and
Kian Farrell split time in the net for the Rams, with Farrell picking up three saves and Withers one.
Coming up – The Rams faced Coe in a Bremner Cup match up on Wednesday at Cornell Soccer Field. Game time is 5 p.m.
