Maddocks enters his first season on Cornell’s softball coaching staff in 2017.

Maddocks has served as an assistant for Mount Vernon High School’s softball program since 2013. He coached club softball (12U-18U) for eight years. Maddocks has also been involved with high school and club volleyball programs in Mount Vernon.

Maddocks earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iowa in 1991. He received an MBA degree from St. Ambrose University in 1999.

Maddocks and his wife Lisa reside in Mount Vernon. They have two daughters: Courtney, 20, and Alyssa, 18.
