Green was named Cornell’s Associate Director of Athletics on July 1, 2020.

Green served as Cornell’s Senior Director of Advancement Operations from 2015-20. She has held several other positions during her time on the Hilltop, including Assistant Dean of the College (2012-15), Institutional Research Associate (2010-12) and Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach/Assistant Volleyball Coach/Athletics Recruiting Assistant (2006-11).

A native of DeWitt, Iowa, Green was co-founder of Cornell’s female athletes’ leadership group (ACTION), focusing on developing leaders from each of the women’s athletics teams in the areas of confidence, pride and vision at the individual, team and community levels.

Green earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and English from Luther College in 2000. She was a four-year starter in basketball, helping lead the Norse to the 1998 Iowa Conference championship and two berths in the NCAA Division III Tournament. Green received a master’s in health and sport studies from the University of Iowa in 2005.

Green was assistant women’s basketball coach at Luther from 2000-03.
