Camille Marie

  • Title
    Assistant Coach

Marie, the most decorated women’s basketball player in Cornell history, begins her first season as an assistant on Brent Brase’s coaching staff.

Marie, of Marion, led the 2012-13 Rams to a historical 25-2 season in which the team claimed Midwest Conference regular-season and tournament titles and qualified for the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time. As a senior, she was named Fourth Team All-American and First Team All-Central Region by D3hoops.com, and was voted MWC Player of the Year. The Cedar Rapids Washington graduate also gained Capital One Third Team Academic All-American honors.

Marie shattered the program’s all-time scoring mark with 1,441 points in 98 games on the Hilltop. She also owns career records for blocked shots (109), field goals made (532), free throws made (367) and free throws attempted (508). Marie ranks second on the career list for rebounds (712) and field goals attempted (1,112).

Marie is the only Cornell basketball player (women or men) to garner all-conference honors four years. She is also the only Ram All-American in women’s basketball.

Marie graduated from Cornell in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in kinesiology. She has plans to enroll in grad school.
