Hornback, a standout player at Wartburg College, joined Cornell’s tennis staff as assistant coach in August 2021.
Hornback currently serves as the assistant tennis professional at Cedar Rapids Country Club and has been head girls tennis coach at Cedar Rapids Washington High School since 2018.
Hornback was previously the assistant tennis professional at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex in Iowa City. He also held the same role at Westfield Tennis Club in Cedar Rapids.
One of the top men’s players in Wartburg history, Hornback garnered 93 collegiate wins. He was a three-time all-Iowa Conference performer in doubles, and two-time all-IIAC honoree in singles.
Hornback graduated from Wartburg in 2017.
