Allen, a four-year letterwinner in Cornell’s wrestling program, returned to his alma mater in Fall 2022 as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.
Allen competed for current head coach Brent Hamm and the late Hall of Famer Mike Duroe from 2016-20. The Gilberts, Ill., native graduated with a 3.90 grade point average and double majored in exercise science and economics.
Allen compiled a 53-41 career record with 24 pins for the Rams. A 2018 NCAA regional competitor, Allen was a two-time member of the program’s Guts Club.
Allen was a two-time Illinois high school state qualifier, taking third in 2016. He recorded 127 victories in his prep career.
