Mosqueda Lara was part of the Cornell staff behind the scenes for the record-setting 15-4 team in 2021, which advanced to the championship game of the Midwest Conference Tournament. He played a role on the 14-3-2 team in 2018, which secured the program's first MWC Tournament berth in 27 years. He's been part of other playoff appearances.
After graduation, Mosqueda Lara went to Blaine, Minn., and was part of Major League Soccer's National Sales Center program. Currently, he is a New Business Account Executive for the Chicago Wolves in the American Hockey League. While he is away in Chicago, he remains committed to being part of Cornell's men's soccer team.
He now resides in the suburbs of Chicago with his daughter.
"I’ve been part of Cornell Men’s Soccer since 2014, not on the field, but behind the scenes, where the magic happens. I’ve witnessed the glory days and the tough seasons, felt the adrenaline of rivalry matches and the unpredictability of conference playoffs. I’ve grown with this team, learned the meaning of resilience, and built relationships that go far beyond the game. This team became my family, and my home."
