Lizzy Ott

Ott made her return to Cornell College and the women’s lacrosse team in Fall 2024 as assistant coach. She is also Cornell’s Visit Experience Assistant.
 
Ott was a key defender and midfielder for the Rams from 2017-21, earning MWLC academic honors all four years. She was a two-time honoree on the MWLC All-Sportsmanship Team.
 
Ott served as president of Cornell’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) her senior year, in addition to being the team captain for lacrosse. Ott double majored in biology and kinesiology at Cornell, graduating Cum Laude.
 
Ott started her lacrosse career at Hill Murray High School in Maplewood, Minn., helping the Pioneers win conference titles three consecutive years and earn the program’s first-ever sectional final appearance.
 
After graduating from Cornell in 2021, Ott earned her master’s of research in exercise physiology from Nottingham Trent University in Nottingham, UK. She also played on NTU’s lacrosse team that went undefeated and was promoted to the UK's Premier Conference.
 
Upon her return home to Minnesota, Ott coached high school lacrosse at The Blake School for two years and for the Minnesota Loons girls club lacrosse team.
