MEN'S RESULTS
MOUNT VERNON – Cornell sophomore newcomer
Natalie McAllister won two women's events and the men's team scored 34 points in two distance races at Saturday's home Hilltop Invitational inside the Small Sport Center Arena.

McAllister impressed in her home debut, claiming titles in the 200-meter dash (27.93) and 60 hurdles (9.40). Her swift hurdles time ranks No. 3 on Cornell's all-time list.

The women also picked up an event win from
Billie Fogarty in the 3000. The junior crossed the line in 11:09.50, seven seconds ahead of runner-up J'Lyn Knutson from Mount Mercy. Cornell freshman
Natalie Neuhaus placed fifth in 11:23.93.

Sam See took fourth in the women's 800 (2:36.82) and anchored the fourth-place 4x400 relay (4:38.84) that included
Sidney Brown,
Emilia Lambert-Mergendahl and
Katie Lammers.

The Rams finished fifth in the women's team standings with 40 points. First-place Mount Mercy scored 91 points.

Cornell's men showed their depth in the distance events, paced by
Aaron Davidson's seven-second victory over Coe's Coe Booker in the 3000 (9:19.88). Davidson added a runner-up finish in the mile (4:35.79), only two seconds behind the winner.

Freshmen
Gabe Soda (4:35.97) and
Gabe Hunt (4:41.40) placed third and fifth, respectively, in the mile.
Emery Bird took third in the 3000 (9:30.26), followed by
Caleb Schopen in fifth (9:44.16).

The Rams had three point scorers in the 200 with
Jacob Engelken fourth (23.54),
Felix Owusu Ansah fifth (23.86) and
Niko Platre sixth (24.22).

Engelken ran the leadoff leg on the third-place 4x400 relay (3:40.64) that included
Thomas Machande,
Nathan Watters and
Fisher Isaacson.
Brad Pace placed fourth in the weight throw (44-8.25).

The Rams finished fourth in the men's team race with 55 points. Mount Mercy took the team title with 97 points.

Cornell was third in the mixed women's-men's 4x200 relay (1:47.18) comprised of Engelken, Brown, Lambert-Merdendahl and anchor Watters.

The Rams head to Dubuque next Saturday, Jan. 29 for the Sol Butler Invitational. Action gets underway at 10 a.m.
