GALESBURG, Ill. – Sophomore
Natalie McAllister ran the fastest prelims time in the 60-meter hurdles, heading Cornell's Day 1 performances at the Midwest Conference Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships Friday at Knox College.

McAllister put herself in strong position for a title Saturday, qualifying for the 60 hurdles finals with a swift time of 9.37 seconds. The mark is .68 seconds ahead of her closest challenger.

Junior
Billie Fogarty posted Cornell's highest finish in finals events. She crossed the line fifth in the 5000 (19:30.98).

The Rams also scored points in two relays. Freshman
Sam See anchored the sixth-place sprint medley of
Emilia Lambert-Mergendahl,
Katie Lammers and
Sidney Brown in 4:43.71.

The 4x200 quartet of Brown, McAllister, Lambert-Mergendahl and See finished sixth in 1:54.70.
