Box Score Portland, Ore. - Freshman Brynn Miroslavich's goal with 1:30 seconds left seized the 8-7 win for the Rams over the Lions of Multnomah University Saturday.
Miroslavich finished with two goals after scoring the first and last goal of the game. Her first goal came in the first quarter to help the Rams jump out to a 1-0 first quarter lead.
Sophomore Cece Zanoni assisted by sophomore Meg Lewis tied the game at 2-2 goals a piece in the second quarter. The Rams allowed two more scores by the Lions as the first half came to end at 4-2.
Junior Cheyenne Greenenwald, junior Anna Methe, and freshman Sabrina Ibanez each scored a goal in the third quarter in a back-and-forth affair between the Lions.
The Rams outscored the Lions in the third with three goals to their two to get within one goal going into the fourth quarter down 6-5.
To begin the fourth quarter, the Lions scored their final goal of the game to go up 7-5. Three- straight goals by the Rams spelled victory as Zanoni and Methe, and finally Mirosalvich all scored their second goals of the game to put an end to the Lions' run.
