MOUNT VERNON – Senior
Amelia Brown of Cornell's women's soccer secured her first goal of the season in the Rams' 1-1 tie to Elmhurst on Wednesday.
Brown's goal came in the 19th minute of the first half as the Rams (0-4-3) captured their momentum against the Bluejays (4-3-2).
In a game that saw a key defender out for the Rams, they didn't falter as they held the Bluejays scoreless since their score at the 14-minute mark in the first half, totaling 75 consecutive minutes over both halves.
Goalkeeper
Sabrina Ibanez increased her save total to 75 on the season after swatting away 10 shots against Elmhurst. Ibanez has 10 or more saves in consecutive games and has four games this season with 10 or more.
Brown finished with five shots and one goal. Shots came from multiple players as seven different Rams each had a shot. The Rams finished the game with 14 total shots with five on goal.
