MOUNT VERNON – The Cornell women's soccer team was halted by a hot start by Lawrence in a 5-0 loss on Saturday in the Midwest Conference matchup at home.
The Rams (0-5-3, 0-2 MWC) have won five of the last seven matchups against the Vikings (3-4-2, 2-0 MWC), who are currently seated atop the conference standings.
The Vikings lead the conference in shots and sophomore goalkeeper
Sabrina Ibanez turned away the 13 that tried to go through the net. Ibanez continues her impressive year as she leads the conference in saves (88) and saves per game (11.00).

Kylie Hard and
Elissafe Moreno each finished with two shots. Sophomores
Emily Howard and
Krystin Kamrath, along with junior
Cassie Stevens each had a shot as well.
