MOUNT VERNON – For the third time in Coach
Trent Schneider's tenure, Cornell's women's tennis team came back after a doubles deficit, this time defeating the Pointers of University Wisconsin Stevens Point, 6-3, Saturday afternoon at the Cornell Tennis courts.

Isabella Walling got the Rams on the board with a tight 8-7(8) victory.

Ashley Mink narrowly fell in a match tiebreak at No. 2, 8-7(4).
Needing four of the six singles matches, the Rams came out of the gate hot in singles play. Mink posted a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 6, while
Makayla Johnson followed suit with a convincing 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 5.
Tansy Graves kept the ball rolling winning at No. 1, 6-1, 6-2, and twin sister
Mac Graves clinched the comeback, notching her team leading 20th singles win of the year, claiming a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 2. Small rounded the day out earning a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 3.
Coming up: The Rams travel to Rochester, Minnesota on April 6 for a neutral site match against the University of Wisconsin Superior. First serve is set for 4pm.
