ROCHESTER, Mn. - Cornell's women's tennis team traveled to Rochester, Minnesota for a neutral site dual match against the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Saturday afternoon. The Rams were edged 5-4 by the Jackets.
Cornell took a 2-1 lead into singles after garnering wins from
Mac Graves/
Makayla Johnson (8-7) and
Tansy Graves/
Ashley Mink (8-3).
In singles, the Rams captured two wins.
Audrey Small secured a victory at No. 3 (6-2, 7-6), and
Tansy Graves finished her day 2-0, with a third set win at No. 1 (6-3, 3-6, 6-2).
UW-Superior claimed the remaining four singles matches in straight sets to secure the meet.
Coming up: The Rams travel to Dubuque, IA to face Loras College on Thursday, April 11th. First serve is set for 4:30pm.
