MOUNT VERNON – Cornell College Athletics is holding its second annual crowdfunding campaign, Rams on the Rise, that will launch Monday, Oct. 20 and run through Wednesday, Oct. 22.
 
An online fundraiser, Rams on the Rise provides former student-athletes, parents, friends and family of Cornell Athletics the chance to make an impact on their favorite Rams team and program.
 
"Our inaugural Rams on the Rise campaign was a success last fall and we are very excited about our upcoming event," said Director of Athletics Jeff Meeker. "The impact these resources have on the student-athlete experience here at Cornell is tremendous. We can't wait to kick off Rams on the Rise to promote our programs and connect with our supporters."
 
Philanthropic support is critical to each of Cornell's 21 varsity athletic programs. The campaign will address the programmatic needs of each team and will provide head coaches with necessary resources to enhance the student-athlete experience.
 
Support from Rams fans will allow our coaches to invest in technological upgrades, out of region travel, new equipment and uniforms, and team bonding opportunities that help create a strong culture on the Hilltop.
