MOUNT VERNON, IA - With seven duals contested this 2024-2025 season, sophomore
Mills Arnold remains perfect on the singles court in duals for the Rams, as Cornell's men's tennis team split a double header on Saturday afternoon in Mount Vernon. The Rams won 7-0 over University of Dubuque, before dropping a Bremner Cup matchup against Coe College, 6-1 at the Small Athletic & Wellness Center.
With the win, the Kohawks extend their lead in the
2024-25 Bremner Cup All-Sports Series, to 6-4.
The Rams (5-2) opened up the day against Dubuque claiming the doubles point.

Mills Arnold posted their third straight win at No. 1, clipping the Spartan duo 6-1.

August Krahn clinched the doubles point for Cornell earning an identical 6-1 win at No. 3.
Devore, Campbell, Arnold,
Edwin Holyoake and
Sam Cumicek all collected straight set wins for the Rams.
Zachary Ong tallied a come from behind third set victory at No. 2 to finish out the sweep.
Against Coe, the Kohawks secured the doubles point winning all three flights. Arnold picked up the lone victory for the Rams, dominating his opponent at No. 4, 6-3 6-0. He extends his singles winning streak to five in-a-row to start the spring campaign, and has won his last six consecutive dual match singles bouts during this year.
Campbell pushed his opponent to the brink at No. 3, narrowing falling in a back and forth third set tiebreak match 6-7(6), 7-6(8), 10-2
