ORLANDO, Fla. - With the win at No. 2 doubles, junior
Zachary Ong recorded his 78th career victory, entering the top 15 on the all time wins career list. Ong and the Rams split a pair of duals in Sunday's double header falling to Maryville College (TN) 7-0, and then bouncing back to defeat Curry College 7-0.
The Rams (8-4) opened up the day against a strong Maryville squad narrowly missing out on the doubles point. Ong and partner
Sam Cumicek took the lone match of the dual at No. 2 doubles, 6-4 over their opposition. No. 1 pair

Drew Campbell both dropped tight matches in tiebreaks to give the Scots the doubles point.
Arnold played his opponent tough down to the wire at No. 4, dropping a closely contested bout 7-6, 0-6, 12-10. Maryville took the rest of the singles matches in straight sets to close out the meet.
Cornell bounced back nicely against Curry College in the second match of the day. Taking on the short handed Colonels, No. 1 freshman duo Eric Dirksmeyer & Benett Gregor powered for a 6-1 win, while No. 2 tandem Evan Davis & JJ White triumphed 6-0 to give the Rams the doubles point.
In singles, Sam Cumicek, Davis, Gregor, Dirksmeyer and White all won in straight sets to complete the sweep. Dirksmeyer recorded his first collegiate singles and doubles wins of his career in a Rams uniform.
Coming up - The Rams play a triple header on Tuesday to finish out the Florida swing, taking on Marymount University, LaGrange College and Marywood University. First serve is set against Marymount for 8:30am ET.
