ORLANDO, Fla. - Cornell's women's tennis team opened their spring break trip in style, winning their tenth dual match of the year and taking down Albion College 6-1 in the Florida opener.
The Rams (10-3) swept doubles in quick fashion, with No. 1 sister duo of
Tansy Graves &
Mac Graves (6-0) and
Audrey Small &
Isabella Wallin (6-1) at No. 3 coasting to quick victories. Sophomore tandem
Alyssa Flynn &
Jenna Benkufsky completed the doubles sweep with a tight 7-5 win at No. 2
Cornell claimed straight-set victories in five singles matches from
Tansy Graves,
Mac Graves, Small, Benkufsky, and
Ashley Drake.
Coming up: Cornell returns to the courts on Sunday to face Maryville College and Curry College in a doubleheader. First serve agaisnt Maryville is set for 12pm CT.
