ELMHURST, Ill. - Cornell's men's tennis team swept Elmhurst University 7-0 in their first match in the Chicago area this weekend.
The Rams collected quick wins in doubles, 6-0 and 6-1 at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively by the pairs of
Trent Devore &
Mills Arnold as well as
August Krahn and
Sam Cumicek.
Singles brought more of the same strong play from Cornell. Devore,
Zachary Ong,
Drew Campbell and Arnold all won in straight sets over the Bluejays to collect the sweep on the afternoon.
Coming up - The Rams continue MWC action tomorrow morning at Lake Forest College for a 9am start.
