MOUNT VERNON – Nine Cornell men's lacrosse seniors and fifth years played their final game at Ash Park Field at Ash Park, under the lights on Wednesday night. A talented Dubuque squad proved to be too much as the Rams fell 18-4, to close out the 2025 season.
The Spartans (10-6, 9-2 NACC) scored the first 12 goals of the game, before freshman
Ben Wojewski found the net :46 seconds into the third period. Wojewski goal was the first of his career, it came on an assist from
Kaden Weaver.
In the fourth period the Rams (5-11, 2-9 NACC) outscored the Spartans 3-2. Cornell received goals from
Caden Lynch,
Matt Norwood and Weaver.
Kaden Weaver contributed his second assist of the game on Lynch's goal.
Senior goalie
Thomas Cook closed out his career with 21 saves on 60 Spartan shots. Cook is the Rams career leader in saves, finishing with 777 career saves.
Torii Greiskalns had four caused turnovers to add to his Rams single season record of 64 caused turnovers. He also picked up six ground balls to give him a team high 96 for the season.
Wojewski caused two turnovers for the Rams. Cook and senior
Zach Arnold each picked up three ground balls.
Dubuque was led by Sam Todd who accounted for seven points (three goals and four assists).
