MOUNT VERNON – Cornell men's soccer team took on two-time defending ARC Tournament champions Friday night, falling 5-1 to Wartburg at Cornell Soccer Field.
Cornell played tough against a Knights team that returned five all-conference players. Freshman goalkeeper
Jack Massey played all 90 minutes, finishing with five saves on 19 shots by Wartburg.
The Rams got on the scoreboard late in the second half on a penalty kick goal by sophomore
Justice Toledo. Cornell (0-1) gave up two goals in the first half and three in the second half to the Knights (1-0).

Cornell drew 24 fouls on Wartburg, while only committing 12.
