MOUNT VERNON – Freshman
Macky Larkin scored two goals and handed out two assists in leading the Cornell women's soccer team to a 6-1 victory over North Central (MN) at Cornell Soccer Field on Saturday.
Cornell (1-0) scored twice in the first half on goals by
Eva Plathe and freshman
Mia Belitz scored her first collegiate goal on a Larkin assist.
North Central (0-1) played Cornell tough throughout the 90-minute game despite playing with only one substitute player. Cornell took advantage of the fresh legs in the second half scoring four goals to North Central's lone goal.

Sabrina Ibanez played all 90 minutes of the game, picking up four saves on North Centrals five shots on goal.
