CEDAR RAPIDS – Cornell men's soccer went on the road Wednesday night to face Coe College, looking to pick up a Bremner Cup point. In the end they came up a bit short, falling 2-1 on a late Kohawk comeback at Clark Field.
The Rams (1-3) were first to get on the board when
Jake Elmore netted a goal four minutes and 46 seconds into the game.
Antonio Russo picked up the assist.
Cornell held on to the one-goal lead until the 78-minute mark when Coe (2-0-2) found the net on a Brandon Kostelny goal. The Kohawks delivered the game-winning goal on a shot by Marek Jesienouski with three minutes left in regulation.

Jack Massey played all 90 minutes for the Rams, finishing with six saves on eight Kohawks shots on goal.
The Rams had two shots on goal for the night, one each by
Justice Toledo and Elmore.
