ST. LOUIS, MO – Cornell women's soccer team faced a talented Webster team Saturday at Worldwide Technology Soccer Park. The Rams battled hard throughout the day, before falling 6-0 to the Gorloks.
Cornell (2-7) held Webster (7-2) to two goals in the first half on 16 shots. The Gorloks two goals came within 13 seconds of each other. In the second half Webster was able to net four goals on 12 shots.

Sabrina Ibanez had another strong game, recording 11 saves on 17 Gorloks shots on goal.
Cornell finished with three shots for the game, one each by
Mia Belitz,
Eva Plathe and
Gracie Lambrecht with the lone shot on goal.
Coming up – The Rams travel to Wisconsin on Tuesday to face Ripon in their Midwest Conference opener. Game time is 4 p.m.
