STEVENS POINT, WI. – Cornell women's wrestling went 1-2 at the UW-Stevens Point Duals Saturday, on Shirley Egner Court at Berg Gym.
The Rams took down UW-Oshkosh 25-18 in the second dual of the day. Cornell (4-4 overall) picked up big wins at (117)
Cheyenne Mulford pinning Kaije Youngstrom in 1:50 and (138)
Averi Burke pinning Mya Delleree in 2:03.
Cornell fell to #23 UW-Stevens Point in the opening dual 36-9.
Graciela Juarez picked up a pin at 145-pounds over Brooke Schuenemann in 1:10. At 160-pounds
Olivia Cotton had a decision over Aerrah Kayon, 10-7.
In the final dual of the day Cornell battled Dubuque, before falling 26-15. Freshman Juarez picked up her second pin of the day, taking down Tatum Levendahl in 52 seconds. Cotton tech fell Brianna Seixas 16-6 (3:38) and Freshman
Tori Maxey pinned Merin Yates (5:09).
Juarez and Cotton each went 3-0 on the day for the Rams and Maxey finished 2-1.
