GALESBURG, Ill. – Cornell men's basketball picked up its first Midwest Conference win in dominant fashion, defeating Knox 92-68 Tuesday night inside Memorial Gymnasium.
The Rams had four players score in double-figures, led by freshman
Kylen Bonner with 20 points. It was Bonner's third consecutive 20-plus point outing. He finished 7-of-10 shooting from the field and 6-of-6 from the line.

Wayne Jurica and sophomore
Keon Talgo netted 16 points each, while senior
Caleb Leslie pitched in 15 points.
Cornell (2-13 overall, 1-5 MWC) enjoyed its best shooting night of the season, hitting 30-of-58 from the field (51.7 %), 11-of-24 from 3-point range (45.8 %), and 21-of-24 from the free throw line (87.5 %).
The Rams defense held Knox (6-9 overall, 2-4 MWC) to 36.5 percent shooting for the game. Cornell was led in rebounding by
Max Markgraf and Jurica with four each.
Joseph Hudson,
Daniel Taylor and Bonner each grabbed three boards. Bonner also picked up three steals.
Newcomer
Garrett Hempen, who joined the team at break, led the Rams in assists with five, while Jurica added four.
