WAVERLY –
Hadley Beaty set two indoor school records at the Friday Knight Lights hosted by Wartburg inside Hoover Fieldhouse.
Beaty won the long jump with a school record jump of 23-0.75, breaking his own record of 22-5.00 set in 2024. He continued his record-breaking night in the 60 meters, finishing fourth with a school record time of 6.92. He broke his old record of 6.97, set in 2025.
Cornell men picked up a first-place finish from
Jake Bach in the mile with a time of 4:21.27.
Senior
Chase Staker took second in the 400, finishing in 49.82.
Jensen Meeker finished fifth in the 400 (50.71).
The Rams 4x400 relay team of Beaty, Staker,
Blaine Dohrmann and Meeker finished second with a time of 3:25.85.
Sophomore
Ike Claussen-Tubbs finished third in the high jump with a leap of 6-3.50. Junior
Brody Williams took fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 54-6.75.
Cornell women received second place finishes from
Jayda Carnes in the 400 (1:01.97),
Alyza Koppes in the 3000 (10:27.80),
Ava Claussen-Tubbs in the 800 (2:16.47) and
Hailey Carolan in the high jump (5-5.25). Carolan's jump ranks 10
th in NCAA Division III 2026 indoor rankings.
Sophomore
Carley Seeley finished fifth in the mile with a time of 5:41.73.
Coming up – The Rams travel to Dubuque Saturday, Feb. 7 to participate in the Spartan Shootout hosted by University of Dubuque.
