Hadley Beaty and
Ava Claussen-Tubbs delivered another round of record-breaking performances Saturday at Wartburg's Last Chance Qualifier.
Beaty reset his own program standard in the 200-meter dash, clocking a fifth-place time of 21.96. The junior also won the long jump with a mark of 21 feet, 7.25 inches.
NCAA hopeful Claussen-Tubbs lowered her school record in the women's 800, placing sixth in 2:13.72. She entered the day ranked 21st nationally in the event. The top 20 declared athletes qualify for nationals.
Jake Bach posted a season-best time in the men's mile, taking fourth in 4:11.57.
Hailey Carolan cleared 5-4.25 to finish runner-up in the high jump.
Lidia Dahlman took seventh in the 3000 (10:27.72) and
Alyza Koppes was 19th in the mile (5:10.57).
