DES MOINES – Cornell's women celebrated a record-setting run in the Iowa College Division Distance Medley Relay Saturday morning at the 116th Drake Relays on Jim Duncan Track.
Sophomore

Mackenzie Engbert and
Ava Claussen-Tubbs finished runner-up in the seven-team field with a blazing mark of 12:18.22.
Claussen-Tubbs clocked a 5:06 anchor split on the 1600-meter leg and helped the Rams trim more than nine seconds off the previous program standard set last year, which Dahlman and Claussen-Tubbs also ran on. NAIA's Dordt University won the race in 12:03.63.

Isaac vanWestrienen came within two seconds of the school record with a mark of 10:01.37.
The Rams finished behind only Iowa Western (9:57.18) and Iowa Central (9:58.35) in the 12-team field.
Cornell's
Hailey Carolan competed in the University/College Division Women's High Jump. The senior cleared 5 feet, 3.25 inches and tied for 17th out of 22 competitors.
Northern Iowa's Katy Stephens won the high jump with a height of 5-8.75.
Coach
Jerry Monner's Rams were represented in seven events over three days at this year's Drake Relays.
