Ryan Kaltenmark

Kaltenmark, a four-year letterwinner and 2015 graduate of St. Norbert College, joined Cornell’s football staff as wide receivers coach in March 2021. He was elevated to offensive coordinator in 2023. 

A native of St. Charles, Ill., Kaltenmark comes to the Hilltop from College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Ill., where he served as wide receivers and tight ends coach during a banner-filled 2019 season. Kaltenmark helped coach the Chaparrals to a win in the Red Grange Bowl in a matchup of the top two non-scholarship football teams in NJCAA.

College of DuPage ranked No. 5 nationally in rushing offense in 2019 under Kaltenmark’s guidance. He also assisted with the track & field programs there.

Kaltenmark had previous coaching stints at Concordia Chicago (wide receivers coach, 2018), Highland Park High School (passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach, 2016-17) and Trine University (tight ends coach, 2015).

Highland Park won a pair of conference championships and qualified for the Class 7A state playoffs in Kaltenmark’s two seasons there. In 2016, Kaltenmark helped direct the No. 1 scoring offense and rushing offense in the conference.

At Concordia Chicago, Kaltenmark coached the 2018 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Freshman of the Year. The team ranked No. 15 in rushing offense in NCAA Division III.

As a student-athlete at St. Norbert, Kaltenmark was part of Midwest Conference football championship and NCAA playoff teams in 2012 and 2013. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in leadership.

Kaltenmark received a master’s in sports leadership at Concordia Chicago in 2019.

Kaltenmark played his prep ball at St. Francis High School in Wheaton, Ill. He was a member of the 2008 Class 5A state championship football team.
