Hardman, one of three backs in Cornell football history to rush for 2,500 yards, joined the Ram coaching staff in 2013. He coaches defensive backs.
Hardman, a native of Oak Park, Ill., is the program’s all-time leader in rushing attempts with 613. He ranks second on the program’s career list for all-purpose yards (3,886) and third in rushing yards (2,637). Hardman totaled 20 touchdowns as a four-year contributor for the Rams.
As a senior, Hardman was named to the 2008 All-Iowa Conference Second Team as a running back and return specialist. In the 2008 season, he rushed for 766 yards and netted another 683 on kickoff returns. Hardman gained honorable mention accolades in 2007, and was a second-team pick at running back in 2006.
Hardman earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Cornell in 2009. He is pursuing his master’s in public health.
Hardman currently works in Coralville at Integrated DNA Technologies. He resides in Iowa City.
