Snyder, a native of Tacoma, Wash., is in his second season on Cornell's staff as outside linebackers coach.

Snyder comes to the Hilltop from NAIA's Waldorf College in Forest City, where he served as a graduate assistant from 2009-10. He was Waldorf's special teams coordinator and coached defensive backs.

Snyder was a football assistant at North Kitsap High School in Poulsbo, Wash., from 2006-09. He was secondary and wide receivers coach there and helped lead the team to the playoffs in 2007. Snyder also was assistant track and field coach at North Kitsap.

Snyder earned his bachelor's degree in sports ministry from Washington Bible College in Lanham, Md., in 2006. He played soccer and basketball at Washington Bible College. Snyder received his master's in sports management from Waldorf in spring 2011.
