Totman, a four-year letterman for the Rams from 2015-18, joined Cornell’s men’s lacrosse coaching staff in the fall of 2019. He is the defensive coordinator and goalie coach.  

Totman was a member of Cornell’s inaugural 2015 varsity team and went on the play 32 career matches as a goalie and long stick midfielder. The Geneva, Ill., native posted 87 career saves for the Rams, who set a program record for winning percentage during Totman’s 2018 senior campaign.

Totman was a two-time Academic All-Midwest Lacrosse Conference performer. He landed on the MLC All-Sportsmanship Team in 2018, when he received the team’s Hard Hat Award. In 2015, Totman was recipient of Cornell’s Best Teammate Award.

Totman was 12U director and coach for River City Lacrosse (Chicagoland) during the 2018-19 season. That season, he also served as defensive coordinator and goalie coach at Marmion Academy in Aurora, Ill.

Totman earned bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and psychology from Cornell in 2018.
