  • Title
    Head Coach

Wyrough, a four-year defensive midfielder for NCAA Division III University of Mary Washington, joined Cornell's coaching staff in September 2016 and was named the program's interim head coach on March 23, 2017.

Wyrough graduated from Mary Washington in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in English. While in Fredericksburg, Va., he helped the nationally-ranked Eagles to four straight semifinal appearances in the competitive Capital Athletic Conference. The CAC crowned all four national champions – Salisbury three, Stevenson one – during Wyrough’s career at Mary Washington (2010-13).

Upon graduation, Wyrough returned home to Lothian, Md., coaching both lacrosse and soccer at The Calverton School (2013-14). As a lacrosse coach there, he worked with the team’s goalies and midfielders in guiding Calverton to its sixth straight conference championship.

Wyrough went on to Durham University in England, earning a master’s in management and competing on the lacrosse team as a player/coach. With his help, Durham won its seventh consecutive national championship.
