Nick Bobb, a 2015 Cornell graduate and four-year starter for the Rams, was elevated to the top assistant coach on Dave Schlabaugh's staff on July 16, 2018.
Bobb, a native of Lake City, Minn., served as a part-time assistant coach on Cornell’s bench for three seasons. The 2019-20 and 2016-17 teams qualified for the Midwest Conference Tournament.
Bobb, who started 90 games for the Rams from 2011-15, is Cornell’s all-time leader for blocked shots in a career (163) and season (58). He was named Honorable Mention All-Midwest Conference his senior season, averaging 14.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and shooting 55.2 percent from the field.
In the Summer of 2018, Bobb coached the Iowa Prep team and was a clinician for TNT5 Basketball, both located in Waterloo.Â
Bobb accumulated 992 points over four seasons with the Rams. His 549 rebounds rank seventh on the program’s career list.
Bobb was voted the team’s Most Outstanding Player during his final 2014-15 campaign. He was selected Team Defensive Player of the Year in 2013-14, and Team Freshman of the Year in 2011-12.
