Marcus Quirk has been selected Midwest Conference Men's Basketball Performer of the Week for the period of Nov. 1-7.
Quirk had an impressive season opener with 23 points and 11 rebounds in Friday's 82-68 road win over SLIAC favorite Eureka.
Quirk shot 8-of-18 from the field and canned four 3-point goals. He also chipped in three blocked shots, two steals and two assists.
Through two games, Quirk leads the Rams at 19.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game, while posting a 51.7-percent shooting percentage. He has made a team-high six 3-pointers.
The Rams (1-1) play host to Wartburg at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
