SALEM, ORE. – The Cornell women's lacrosse team fell to NAIA Corban (Ore.) University 18-6 on the road in the teams' first meeting in school history. A collected Ram effort, wasn't enough to combat the hot start by the Warriors.

Anna Methe scored a woman-down goal at the 8:40 mark in the second quarter as freshman
Brynn Miroslavich's ended the half with a free position goal with 19 seconds left. Five goals tallied by the Warriors catapulted them to a 10-4 lead at halftime.
Greenenwald and Methe each scored a goal in the second half for the Rams. Greenenwald's goal came at 9:31 in the third and Methe's coming at 10:09 in the fourth.
Even with two Rams having a multi-goal night, they lost after Jillian Phillips and Sydney Davis of Corban (Ore.) had six goals each to have 12 of the 18 goals scored by the Warriors.

Kathryn Andries, each had identical stat lines in the loss with each accumulating five saves while allowing nine goals.
