DECORAH – Cornell's women's wrestling team picked up 12 match wins at Saturday's Luther Open.
Freshman
Jasmine McCaskel headed Cornell's lineup with a 3-2 effort at 145 pounds, which included one pin and one technical fall. She lost by fall in the second round to eventual champion Annelise Obermark of Simpson.
At 124,
Cheyenne Mulford recorded two bonus-point wins during her 2-2 day.
Ciara Gomez-Bryant split four matches in the 131-pound bracket, posting a pin and a technical fall.
