Box Score 2 MADISON, Wis. - The Cornell men's tennis team traveled to Wisconsin for two dual matches on Saturday afternoon. The Rams completed a comeback win, 5-4, against Loras and defeated host Edgewood, 8-1, in the nightcap at the John Powless Tennis Center.
With tightly contested doubles matches against the Duhawks, No. 1 doubles pair

Federico Polidori fought through for an 8-7 (6) win, while the No. 2 pair of

Mills Arnold extended their win streak to four as partners, claiming an 8-5 win.

August Krahn narrowly fell in a match tiebreaker 7-8 (5).
The Duhawks claimed straight-set wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, to go with a third set tiebreak win at No 3 to pull ahead 4-2 in the meet. Hadler-Strumlauf and Devore evened the match at 4-4, earning 6-3, 6-4 and 6-2, 6-3 victories at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots, respectively. Polidori at No. 2 singles, capped off the team's comeback win, bouncing back for a 6-7 (6), 6-2, 10-7 triumph.
In the second dual of the day, the Rams swept doubles for the second time this season, and took a 3-0 lead going into singles. Hadler-Strumlauf/Polidori, and Devore/Arnold earned their second wins on the doubles court on the day, defeating the Eagles 8-6 and 8-3 in the top two spots. Freshman

Lincoln Rener, provided the sweep winning 8-7 (4) at No. 3.
Cornell won five of the six singles matches in straight sets to close out the dual match. Polidori was edged 7-5, 7-5 at No. 2 for Edgewood's lone point. Hadler-Strumlauf finished 4-0 on the afternoon, while Devore had a 3-0 day individually for the Rams.
Coming up - The Rams return to the courts next Saturday, Feb. 17, hosting University of Dubuque (9 a.m.) and Bethany Lutheran College (4 p.m.).
