FREMONT, Neb. –
Cheyenne Mulford and
Olivia Cotton both won multiple matches Saturday to pace Cornell's women's wrestling team at the Warrior Open, hosted by Midland University.
Mulford (10-15) earned a pair of consolation wins in the 123-pound division. The sophomore pinned Missouri Valley's Mystyque Anderson in 2:55 and then recorded a 10-0 technical fall over Southeast's Cadence Smaus.
Mulford bowed out in the consolation quarterfinals and finished the day 2-2.
Cotton advanced to the championship quarterfinals at 143. She opened with a 9-8 decision over Midland's Andrea Frisque, followed by a 10-4 victory over Waldorf's Yana Paskar. Cotton went 2-2 in the tournament, bumping her team-high wins total to 14.

Emma Stevenson went 0-2. Cornell 191-pounder
Bralyyn Wagler dropped both of her matches.
